Always refer to the Care Instructions stitched into the garment you have purchased as it has been set up specifically for the style and fabric.
GENERAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS
As most of the fabrics we use are made from NATURAL fibres, we recommend you hand wash with care in preference to dry cleaning.
SILK
Is best washed by hand in cold water with a detergent created for delicate fabrics, or wash with mild shampoo. Do not soak or bleach. Hang to dry in the shade and use a warm iron on the wrong side of the garment if needed.
LINEN & LINEN BLENDS
This wonderful natural fibre can last a long time if well cared for.
Hand wash in cool water or you can machine wash on a delicate cycle also. Use a good mild detergent. Bleach and chemical stain removing agents can damage the fibres.
Do not tumble dry, just hang to dry in the shade and then warm iron on the wrong side of the garment.
COTTON
Treat in the same manner as for linen. Cotton is a robust fibre, but can fade with prolonged exposure to sunlight and chemical detergents. Hand wash in cool water, or you can machine wash on a delicate cycle also. Use a good mild detergent. Do not tumble dry, just hang to dry in the shade and then warm iron on the wrong side of the garment.

SILK VISCOSE
This stunning artisan made fabric isn’t difficult to launder if you follow a few simple steps. It is hand dyed, so there will be extra dyestuff in the fabric sometimes. Treat it with care. HAND WASH your garment separately in COLD water with a silk wash or similar mild detergent. Do not bleach, soak or wring, and don’t tumble dry. Hang to dry in the shade, and use a warm iron on the wrong side.
SILK VELVET
We recommend dry cleaning. Silk Velvet is a delicate fabric, and can crush and damage the delicate silk pile if washed.
